Hello, I’m Mae, the founder of Hey, Mae Virtual Outsourcing. I’m so glad you’re here and taking the time to get to know me and the heart behind this company.

I began my professional journey as a teacher, where I spent several years nurturing and guiding young minds. However, like many of us, the pandemic shifted my path. During that time, I transitioned into the world of virtual assistance, realizing I could still help others but in a new, dynamic way. This transition was the beginning of my journey into virtual assistance, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the opportunities that followed.

One of those came when I stepped up as the head of the admin department – handling recruitment and training. I screen and interview applicants, and to my surprise, I found myself truly enjoying it. It wasn’t just about finding the right fit – it was about understanding people, their potential, and matching them with the right opportunities. This experience allowed me to further refine my skills, and the results were better than I ever expected. After seeing the impact we made and how much my client valued the support, I knew I could help more business owners the same way. That’s when the idea of Hey, Mae was born.

As for the name, Hey, Mae is more than just a catchy phrase – it’s personal. My client would always say, “Hey, Mae, can you help me with this?” whenever they needed assistance. It became a symbol of reliability and trust, and I wanted to replicate that feeling. I wanted to build a team of dedicated virtual assistants who could give business owners the same support and attention that I provided, so they could focus on what they do best and grow their businesses without being bogged down by the daily administrative tasks. Thus, Hey, Mae came to life — a place where business owners could find the help they need, just as I had always been there for my clients.
